Domestic Attendees:

Domestic Investigators are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. Please note that only the most cost-effective economy/coach class travel will be reimbursed. Also, any International air travel booked must be the most cost-effective Fly America Act compliant (https://www.gsa.gov/policy-regulations/policy/travel-management-policy-overview/fly-america-act), economy/coach class travel. These federal guidelines require that travel be booked with U.S. Flag Air Carriers (basically any airline based in the United States) to the furthest point possible using the most direct or expeditious route, regardless of cost and convenience.

Air travel that is not Fly America Act compliant will not be covered or eligible for reimbursement by the AMC.

AMC Global CAB (Community Advisory Board) Members:

Please complete an online Travel Request Form via the website below so that your airfare can be pre-paid by the AMC ODMC. Once you have submitted an online Travel Request Form, a World Travel, Inc (WTI) travel agent will email you to confirm your reservations.

Once your airfare reservations are final/confirmed, hotel accommodations (Room & Tax) will be reserved and pre-paid for by the AMC ODMC based on your confirmed airfare itinerary and only for the lodging nights that are AMC meeting-related.

Note: In keeping with Emmes’ Travel Policy, we will be unable to purchase any INTERNATIONAL airfare until August 27 (14-42 days in advance for International travel) and any DOMESTIC airfare until September 8 (14-30 days in advance for Domestic travel).

NOTE TO TRAVELERS FROM ELDORET, KENYA: Please note that our Travel Agency can only purchase the roundtrip Nairobi-DCA/IAD/BWI portion of your trip via the Travel Request Form weblink above. The roundtrip Eldoret-Nairobi ticket must be purchased locally, as JamboJet does not accept third-party credit cards. Since this is the case, travelers from Eldoret are required to purchase their own roundtrip Eldoret-Nairobi airfare, and then request for reimbursement for this expense after the meeting (please see “Reimbursement” tab for reimbursement instructions).
