The AMC Chair for the Developmental Therapeutics Committee provides scientific, strategic, and operational leadership for the Committee's research portfolio, focusing on early-phase, investigator-initiated, translational, and novel therapeutic clinical trials. Working closely with AMC leadership, protocol teams, scientific partners, and NCI stakeholders, the Chair advances research aligned with AMC priorities to improve outcomes for people living with HIV and cancer. - Protocol Development & Portfolio Oversight: Oversee study development and portfolio performance to ensure efficient protocol execution, scientific impact, and achievement of operational goals.
- Committee Leadership & Governance: Lead transparent, multidisciplinary governance processes for protocol review, prioritization, and strategic decision-making.
- Mentorship & Investigator Development: Foster investigator growth by mentoring emerging researchers and promoting leadership opportunities in protocol development and translational research.
